Lunar Solar LTD ("Lunar Solar", "we", "us") is a residential solar panel installation company and the data controller for your personal information. We are registered in England and Wales (company number 12953340) at 71-75 Shelton Street, London, WC2H 9JQ.
2. What we collect and why
We collect your name, email address, phone number, and property address when you enquire about our services. We use this information to:
- Provide you with a solar savings estimate for your property
- Contact you by email, phone, or post about your enquiry and our services, with your consent
- Arrange site surveys and installations
We collect this information either because you have given us your consent or because it is necessary to provide the service you have requested (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(b)).
We do not collect any special category data such as health information or political opinions.
3. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data to anyone. We may share your information with trusted service providers who help us run our business (for example, our email and hosting providers). These providers only process your data on our instructions.
4. How long we keep your data
We keep your contact details for as long as we have a relationship with you. If you become a customer, we retain your records for the duration of applicable warranty periods (2 years Lunar Solar workmanship, up to 25 years manufacturer guarantee). If you enquire but do not proceed, we delete your information within 3 years.
You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing info@lunarsolar.co.uk.
5. Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. You can also withdraw your consent to being contacted at any time, object to how we use your data, or request a copy in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@lunarsolar.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
