We were worried about our slate roof

They loved the idea of solar but their roof is original slate and they didn’t want it damaged. They’d read horror stories about leaks and cracked tiles. Lunar Solar’s surveyor came out, checked the whole structure, and walked them through exactly how the panels would fix into the rafters without compromising the slate. That was the bit that convinced them.

Neat job, no mess

The team used specialist slate roof mounts and sealed every penetration properly with flashing. Everything was aligned, secure, and weathertight. They left the place tidy too.

Generating from day one

The system was commissioned and tested before they left. It was producing straight away. They’re really pleased with the whole thing — the workmanship is excellent and it’s doing exactly what they said it would.
